Small Promotion; Big Results

Loving Cup Teas has a list of devoted fans that absolutely love their loose leaf tea blends… and Loving Cup Teas loves them right back.

With Christmas approaching, Marissa, the owner of Loving Cup Teas wanted to do something extra special for her customers.

We saw this as an opportunity to do something fun with her audience that would boost her seasonal sales as well. 

The Challenge

Connect with current and new customers with a Holiday promotion that was compelling, fun, and not too “sales-y”.

The Strategy

We helped her put together an email campaign called “12 Days of Deals” to celebrate the holidays and generate extra seasonal sales. Each day during the 12 days before Christmas, we recommended she send a new offer to her subscribers that was only good for 24 hours.

She loved the idea and gave her current list a choice on whether or not they’d like to join in on the celebration.

By giving them the option to take part (effectively segmenting her audience), she ensured her promotional emails would only be sent to the people that were looking forward to getting them. The customers on this list would also be the ones most likely to act on her offers.

Proven Results

We took a look at her sales from last year’s holiday promotion to this year and the results were fantastic.
