New Branding To Reach New Goals

Marissa, the owner of Loving Cup Teas had a few new goals for the upcoming business year, but her branding, labels, and website weren’t going to get her business to the next level.

She knew that if she was going to reach her business goals, and really start standing out in the marketplace, things would need to change.

The Challenge

Marissa’s business goals for the upcoming year were:

1)  Establish her brand as the “go-to” eCommerce option for unique, full-flavored loose leaf tea blends.

2)  Increase traffic to her website and improve sales.

3)  Create a wholesale program to attract retail clients

She also wanted to drive more organic traffic to her online store, increase conversions, and create a program for wholesale customers interested in carrying her teas.

The Strategy

We started with an audit of her current site, sales system, and social media presence. Then, we dug into who her target audience is, as well as where and how they shop online.

We also did market and competitor research and found a sweet spot that fit her brand perfectly.

We designed her website with the brand’s “personality”, her business goals,  and the market in mind.

First, we worked on her new logo and brand colors.

Next, we created a label that would work for her unique needs (she wanted to be able to customize the labels on her own for new blends she’d create in the future).

Next, we set her up with branding photographer Amy Coppersmith of Coppersmith Photography. Amy took some gorgeous product shots, headshots, and stock photo shots that Marissa could use in a variety of ways – on the website, for online ads, etc.

Finally, we wrote the webcopy and product descriptions with SEO in mind and created a website that was responsive, easy to navigate, and visually appealing to online shoppers.

We also made sure that there was a place for wholesale customers to sign up for an account.
